Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Clinical Marketing Manager , your main responsibilities and duties will include:
- Maintain an effective network of patient contacts
- Maintain an effective network of healthcare professionals in our therapeutic areas (Welland Nurse Network)
- Develop, implement and manage a Global nurse education programme
- Support commercial teams in conducting Global product, service and educational training at internal and external events
- Carry out clinical and patient evaluations on new and existing products, recording results in an efficient and logical way so they can be used for regulatory listings, marketing materials, reimbursement support, product listings and as data on file to support product claims
- Complete and maintain, to the highest possible standard, the associated paperwork and follow up for all patient and clinician evaluations. When this work is completed it is to be archived.
- Comply with Data Protection legislation with any data you are responsible for (including clinicians and patients).
- Be aware of the latest clinical developments and competitor products within our therapeutic areas e.g. by attending local stoma, wound care and continence meetings.
- All projects and tasks to be completed within the timelines agreed with your Line Manager.
- To be in the Welland office and distributor markets/international travel as directed by the Sales and Marketing Director
- Go about your role in accordance with appropriate Clinical Governance requirements
- Attend, as directed, new product development meetings with internal parties.
- Work effectively with all NPD team members and take guidance on strategy as required.
- Maintain and develop new clinical contacts in these areas and as a result will be able to conduct clinical evaluations for new products in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ad hoc analysis of the market size and potential market penetration for new product development offerings, subsequently reporting back to commercial teams in a concise verbal/written report.
- Demonstrate development of forward planning ensuring the electronic diary is updated on a daily basis.
- Ensure that you are aware of all opportunities available to further increase Group companies market share.
- To be the clinical lead for Stoma knowledge and effectively disseminate that knowledge through the teams.
- To liaise between all internal departments and sister companies.
- To carry out ad hoc duties as required from time to time.
- Whilst building professional relationships with customers and key opinion leaders, that will enhance the Company’s quality image, you will behave in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Responsibility to adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety policy at all times and operate and
- promote the development of quality standards and procedures taking ownership of tasks and to seeknew improved ways of doing things
- Taking responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed Performance and Development Reviews.
- To be mindful of the projects undertaken and any potential implications on current or future budgets
