Summary Of The Role:

To work within the IT department to offer efficient and effective support for all business systems. To assist in maintaining the company IT infrastructure and telecoms systems.

Work with the IT Manager to review technologies that might aid the business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As part of your role at Welland, you will be fully integrated within the IT team, with focus and ability to:

  • Provide 1st line support for onsite and remote users
  • Troubleshooting applications, system, and network problems
  • Configuration and installation of new PC’s, Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones, and other IT hardware
  • Creation and maintenance of user accounts
  • Management of onboarding/offboarding procedures
  • Provide technical assistance with business projects as required
  • Assist with IT documentation review and revision
  • General IT administration
  • Logging and managing support tickets

 

Other Duties:
A degree of flexibility is needed and the job holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above and which will be appropriate to the level of the role.
