Summary of Role:

As a member of the Engineering Team you will train and develop in all aspects of the manufacturing process at Welland Medical. You will begin with developing core mechanical and electrical hand skills working to understand and improve machine performance. Over time you will move into the Projects Engineering area where you will develop machine design skills working on continuous improvement initiatives based around operational efficiency. As part of the Projects Team you will develop project management skills through the procurement of new equipment.

Main Activities:

Developing core workshop engineering skills
Understanding and using machine data to formulate improvement plans
Understand the importance of Planned Preventative Maintenance
Develop Solid Works skills
Working as part of Capital acquisition projects
