As Marketing Manager, you will manage Welland’s pouch and accessory product portfolio in accordance with the corporate objectives and marketing plans and work with the wider Sales and Marketing team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • With the HS&M develop the overall Marketing Plan to help support the Welland product ranges and marketing communications
  • With the support of the HS&M help to develop the strategic product direction for the company
  • To be fully informed of the external environment, and its influence on the market place.
  • Product portfolio management and regular lifecycle planning
  • Support and conduct market research plans from internal desk research to customer and end users studies as appropriate
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies tailored to unique geographic and user demographic needs.
  • Support the HS&M in the development of the Sales and Marketing plan and budget.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market activities and report on this activity on a monthly basis
  • Oversee the launch of new product ranges from being part of the development team to development of the launch plans and the execution of the plans with the marketing team
  • Daily management of the marketing messaging and product management team
  • With the support of HS&M manage the marketing budget to control any overspend, to bring projects in on time and in budget
  • Assist in the management of specific NPD projects as required
  • Liaise with Welland’s R&D , Operations , and QARA teams to ensure product evaluations are conducted and reported on for specific projects.
  • Provide product marketing support to internal and external customer supporting the communication of the Welland brand guidelines throughout all markets
  • Assist the organisation of and attend key exhibitions, distributor meetings and other key meetings.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships and have regular contact with distributors, product users, healthcare professionals and market influencers
