In 1998, we started with a simple aspiration to enhance people’s lives and a strong desire to innovate. Today, we are a global business with over 250 colleagues based in Crawley, England where we create and manufacture our ostomy products, with a presence in over 40 countries around the world.

With 35 years of expertise, knowledge, and skill, we have continued to learn, develop new products, and adapt to new technologies to continually improve our processes to deliver the highest quality of stoma care products to our customers.

We strongly believe that people are at the heart of our success and strongly invest in the training and development of our colleagues to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to deliver the uncompromising quality products you know today.

Our team of 250 colleagues, comprises of many different skill sets and expertise. From the research and development stage to the production of the product, to gathering and understanding customer feedback, everyone at Welland plays a vital part in ensuring we continually support those living with a stoma.

In 2022, we renewed our Purpose, Vision, Mission and Values, the foundation of who Welland is to reflect our continuing growth and commitment to helping shape the stoma care industry. After carrying out in-depth research, ‘We Are Welland’ was created. A summary of the pride, passion, and empowerment our colleagues feel, knowing they make a positive impact on people’s lives.

To reflect our refocused, Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values our team created a short video that showcases how we embody and empower these foundations daily. Our purpose-built Headquarters features in the video, giving an insight into how our products are made and the people behind the pouch.
