Welland Welcomes Partners Back To Their Headquarters

Last month, on Tuesday 27th September, our Annual Distributor Meeting (ADM) 2022 began, our first in-person event since 2019.

The changing world over the last few years meant we had to think differently about events, adapting to a new way of networking and connecting globally. Last year, we held our first virtual ADM to accommodate our global audience in unprecedented times with the ability to be part of the event in the safest way. Read more about how we went virtual, here.

At Welland we pride ourselves on building success through people, which is why the key focus for this year’s ADM was ‘People’. Our colleagues, Global Partners, and those living with a stoma enable us to continually improve, provide high-quality products, and support those around us.

Reflecting on people, our headquarters, in West Sussex, United Kingdom was chosen as the hosting venue for the event. A place where our colleagues are able to thrive, our products are designed and manufactured, and is the heart of Welland.

Fast forward to last week, the preparations were underway and our Global Partners started to make their way to the UK. Starting on Tuesday 27 September, in our conference room, Norma Gill (named after the world’s first Enterostomal Therapist) Welland Medical Managing Director, Samantha Jackson set the scene for the upcoming couple of days.

Throughout the ADM, we heard from fellow Welland colleagues and Global Partners, about what has been happening in different markets over the last year. Hearing from global markets enables us to share best practices in supporting both Health Care Professionals and people who live with stomas across the world.

The feedback from the event has been positive and we look forward to seeing what 2023 holds for our ADM and seeing our Global Partners again.
