The Junior QA Engineer will be responsible for processing materials issues and working with the Procurement team and suppliers to ensure they are closed in a timely manner. Controlling and coordinating all calibration testing requirements and assisting the execution and completion of the validation schedule.

Responsible for the performance and safety of all manufacturing equipment in line with company KPI’s and strategic projects. The most effective form of machine support can only be delivered through the thorough understanding of the way in which equipment is operated, the machine performance and the requirements and design of the products being manufactured.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Production Support Engineer will ensure the performance of the equipment through the support of Shift Engineers in resolving electrical, electronics and communication issues arising on the process machines.

The role requires a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement operations. The role involves sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, processing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role will work closely with internal teams to monitor stock levels and maintain accurate purchasing records. Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.

Based in Crawley and working closely with all aspects of the R&D team, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to join a multidisciplinary R&D team. Specifically, this role will involve leading the development of new and/or existing products from concept through to launch – ensuring innovative, cost-effective and compliant solutions that meet patient and customer needs are brought to the market. Our R&D team of Designers, Engineers, and Material Scientists are in the forefront of technology in the ostomy device industry. You will be making a vital contribution to Welland’s New Product Development process and transforming patient care through innovation.
