Welland Medical is celebrating being reaccredited with an Investors in People (IIP) gold award.

Organisations can apply for the Investors in People award, which is an internationally recognised accreditation for establishments who put staff at their core.

Having already attained the IIP accreditation, Welland Medical began the process of preparing for re-assessment.

The IIP assessor report states ‘This has been a very positive IIP review for Welland Medical and the company is to be congratulated on maintaining its Gold level accreditation”

Whilst visiting our manufacturing headquarters, the IIP assessor also noted that ‘There are open and professional relationships throughout the company. The directors are very visible and the ethos is that everybody has an important part to play in the company, whatever the role.’

Staff took part in the IIP Staff Survey and face to face interviews with our assessor, here is one of the many positive comments from our staff in this process. ‘It’s the best company I’ve worked for. There is a real sense of progression. If you stay here you will grow and the company will help you always.”
