During the meeting, attendees heard from a variety of Welland colleagues who provided updates on the company’s achievements over the past year and its plans and focus for the future. The event also featured several presentations from distributors who showcased their new product launches, sharing best practices and insights in their markets.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the presence of an external speaker, Jessica Stephenson Clarke from ARVRA, whose main aim is to support individuals’ personal well-being. During her time at Welland Medical, Jessica spoke about the importance of well-being. Her insights provided valuable perspectives on maintaining a healthy work-life balance and prioritising self-care.

The meeting agenda covered various topics, including sales and marketing updates, operational updates, new product development, clinical marketing updates, and more. Attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into these areas and learn from industry experts.

Attendees also heard from both Sarah Duckworth, Operations and Engineering Director and Alun Williams, Research and Development Director, regarding exciting updates and highlighting Welland Medical’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

The meeting also featured a clinical insight from Moira Evans, Clinical Marketing Manager, who discussed evidence-based learnings and the impact it has on healthcare professionals’ decision-making process, as well as the impact our ostomy products have on the lives of those living with a stoma.

The meeting also featured presentations from several distributors who unveiled their new launches and insights into Aurum® Plus and its impact on patients’ lives in their countries.

Rachel Leyland, HSE manager, presented on “Our Green Pledge,” highlighting Welland Medical’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. She showcased implemented changes such as eliminating plastic bottles and promoting the use of reusable mugs, underscoring the company’s dedication to reducing its ecological footprint.

Additionally, attendees heard from ‘The People Behind the Bag’, Sandhya Shah, Hydrocolloid Operative and Bhavini Patel, Shift Supervisor and Lead Machine Setter, who highlighted their passion and dedication to every aspect of Welland’s operations. Their stories resonated deeply, reinforcing the human element at the core of Welland’s success.
